Uninstall and insure that there are no fsuipc components left in your fsx\modules directory. Then install again.

Crash,
I uninstalled and reinstalled VAFS3, its update, and FSUIPC4 into my old laptop using administrative log in and it does not work. It still says my aircradt is not ready. I have to rule out security block because my newm lptop has more strict security than my old one.
Sure I can use my new laptop to fly on VAFS3, its update, and FSUIPC4 but I made mistake buying powerful laptop with 1050x800 or something resolution. When I look at my old laptop, 757-300 looks long which is correct but when I look at my new laptop, 757-300 looks like 757-200!!! Also, in my new laptop, 777 looks like 767!!!!!!
Hence my preference to fly on old laptop. Anybody got better idea hot to get VAFS3, its update, and FSUIPC4 work in my old laptop??
Thanks,
Aharon

This is basically a hunch. Start FSX, go to the VAFS icon and right click, select "Run as Admininstrator". See if it works then. If it does, your FSX was installed by your admin, rather than user account. Actually, that last part is a guess.

It sounds like it could be a SimConnect problem also. You may have to reinstall SimConnect

I followed your advice by reinstalling SimConnect using Peter Dowson's method of reinstalling SimConnect and it does not work. Still giving me the same message "Your aircraft is not working" Crash, I tried your latest idea and still no luck. Looks like I will have to use new laptop to fly on VAFS3, its update, and FSUIPC4 once a week or once a month as long as two VAs do not mind and use old laptop to make lots of flights on my own without VAFS3, its update, and FSUIPC4. Vista can be tricky. If you want to try one last thing then try this.
Uninstall VAFS3 and FSUIPC. Remove the VAFS3 folder from your C:\Program Files
Turn that User Access Control off in control panel, that eliminates the UAC all together.
Install FSUIPC again with UAC off, and then install VAFS3 and the update with UAC off and then try it.
Sounds like SimConnect and FSUIPC are still not communicating right and SimConnect uses TCPIP to communicate to the sim and then to FSUIPC.

Just to make sure, are you at the gate with engines off and in the FSX general settings you have "Pause On Task" not checked?

Yes and I even set on brakes too. I also picked gate closer to control tower. I just flew two flights on my new laptop with VAFS3, its update, and FSUIPC4 without problems but still get "your plane is not ready" message on my old laptop. Regards, Aharon
